  4. ║ The Scout program is in a self-extracting archive.  In order to use the ║
  5. ║ program, you must unpack the archive.                                   ║
  6. ║                                                                         ║
  7. ║ To extract the Scout program, type SCOUT44 (press enter) and follow the ║
  8. ║ instructions.                                                           ║
  9. ║                                                                         ║
  10. ║ To print the documentation for SIMS, Type:                              ║
  11. ║                  COPY SIMS.DOC LPT1: (press enter)                      ║
  12. ║                                                                         ║
  13. ║ For the SIMS program demonstration Type MENU DEMO, and press return.    ║
  14. ║ To operate, a text source code file must be created with a separate     ║
  15. ║ word processing program (e.g., EDLIN). Use MAKEMENU to convert text     ║
  16. ║ file into menu format. Afterwards the menu can be operated by the       ║
  17. ║ program MENU, preferably from a batch file when completed.              ║
